Plum, Juniper & Southern Grace
Meet Violet Lynne, a bar as graceful as her name and as rich as a Southern twilight. Her deep, muted violet base—naturally colored with alkanet root, purple Brazilian clay, and a pinch of indigo—rests beneath a soft, creamy top, crowned with whole juniper berries for a final flourish that hints at the fragrance within. She’s crafted with Grass-fed and Finished Beef Tallow, babassu oil, and a touch of goat milk, creating a lather as velvety as her hues.
Her scent is a story in two seasons—ripe, fruity plum notes meet the crisp freshness of juniper berry, woven with sweet orange, Peru balsam, lavender, aged patchouli, and a hint of davana. The result is a fragrance that’s bright yet grounding, like a jar of plum preserves cooling on the windowsill while winter evergreens sway outside.
A bar for those who love beauty with depth, Violet Lynne carries the romance of the South into every wash.
Ingredients:
**Dry Rendered, Organic Grass-Fed and Finished Beef Tallow – A deeply moisturizing and nutrient-rich fat, tallow creates a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. Packed with skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, and K, it supports elasticity, soothes dryness, and nourishes sensitive skin.
**Organic Babassu Oil – Lightweight yet deeply nourishing, organic babassu oil is pressed from the kernels of the babassu palm native to Brazil. Rich in lauric and myristic acids, in soap, babassu offers a creamy, bubbly lather and acts as a gentle alternative to coconut oil — ideal for sensitive skin. Its soothing, cooling properties help calm dryness and irritation, making it a perfect addition to our nourishing tallow soaps.
**Organic Castor Oil – Known for its exceptional lather-boosting properties, castor oil enhances the soap’s bubbles and provides a smooth, conditioning feel on the skin. It also helps retain moisture, making it a great addition for sensitive skin.
*Alkanet-Infused Olive Pomace Oil - The deep, muted plum hue in Violet Lynne is brought to life with this infusion, a natural botanical coloring method steeped in tradition. Alkanet, a root known for its rich purplish pigments, imparts a soft, earthy tone that shifts between lavender, mauve, and plum depending on the soap’s pH. Infused into nourishing olive pomace oil, this colorant not only adds visual depth but also supports the skin with the oil’s gentle conditioning properties. The result is a naturally hued bar that reflects the richness of ripe fruit and old-world elegance—without a single synthetic dye.
#Raw Goat Milk - Fresh, raw goat milk has long been a gift from nature for nurturing the skin. Rich in gentle lactic acids, vitamins, and natural lipids, it deeply moisturizes while helping to soften and renew. Its creamy composition supports the skin’s natural barrier, soothes dryness, and delivers a feeling of lasting comfort. Unprocessed and full of life, raw goat milk brings a quiet kind of nourishment — leaving the skin feeling tender, supple, and restored.
**Organic Essential Oil Blend - A graceful layering of Sweet Orange, Juniper Berry, Peru Balsam, Lavender, Davana, and aged Patchouli — carefully crafted to capture the soft sweetness of ripe plum with a crisp, wintry twist. Bright citrus and juniper lift the top, bringing fresh, evergreen sparkle. Creamy balsam and syrupy davana deepen into the richness of plum flesh and skin. Lavender adds a blooming softness, while aged patchouli grounds it all in warm earth. The result is a scent that’s ripe yet refreshing, floral yet woodsy — like plum preserves cooling on the windowsill while evergreens sway in the Southern breeze.
**Organic & Natural Clays & Powders - White Kaolin Clay lends a soft, silky texture to the lather, making it ideal for sensitive skin. The rich plum base is deepened with Purple Brazilian Clay, a mineral-rich clay that helps tone and nourish, and a whisper of Indigo Powder, which lends a cool, smoky depth to the overall hue. Together, these ingredients create a lush, skin-loving bar with both beauty and benefit in every swirl.
*Natural Sodium Lactate - a natural, liquid salt derived from the fermentation of sugars, often from corn or beets. In soap making, it plays a vital role in producing a firm, long-lasting bar by hardening the soap. Beyond structural benefits, sodium lactate also helps retain moisture, ensuring the soap remains gentle and nourishing on the skin. It's a must-have ingredient for achieving a creamy, luxurious texture without compromising quality or performance.
***Each cold-processed soap is created through the traditional saponification process, which transforms natural oils into soap using our raw goat milk and lye (sodium hydroxide) or distilled water. This essential process binds the oils and lye, resulting in a gentle yet powerful cleansing bar. Once fully cured, no lye remains in the final product—only pure, skin-friendly soap that effectively cuts through grease while being safe and natural for everyday use. Please also note, each bar may differ a bit in color, shape and size, and are cured for at least 4 to 6 weeks to ensure a harder, longer-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. This extended curing time allows excess moisture to evaporate, resulting in a milder, more effective soap that cleans beautifully while remaining gentle on your skin. A well-cured soap bar not only lasts longer but also improves in quality over time, providing the best possible experience with every use.
Directions for Use: Lather the bar between your hands or on a washcloth with warm water. Massage onto damp skin and rinse clean. For longer-lasting bars, store soap on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses. Perfect for: Daily face and body use, especially for those who love earthy, detoxifying, and visually striking soaps.
