When the South settles quiet under winter skies, there’s a chill that carries peace more than cold — that’s the feeling tucked inside every bar of Winter’s Frost.
Handcrafted from grass-fed and finished tallow and creamy raw goat milk, this soap captures the calm of frost-kissed mornings and soft, silvery light spilling over fields.
Its gentle hue — a pale green-blue like icy sage — feels clean and crisp, while organic poppy seeds bring a whisper of exfoliation reminiscent of winter air brushing the skin. The scent drifts somewhere between fresh linens, quiet woods, and a fireside cup of calm — smooth, comforting, and undeniably Southern.
Winter’s Frost is more than a soap — it’s a slow moment on a still morning, a breath of cold air and soft grace before the day begins.
Ingredients:
**Dry Rendered, Organic Grass-Fed and Finished Beef Tallow – Rendered in-house, a deeply moisturizing and nutrient-rich fat, tallow creates a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. Packed with skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, and K, it supports elasticity, soothes dryness, and nourishes sensitive skin.
**Organic Babassu Oil – Lightweight yet deeply nourishing, organic babassu oil is pressed from the kernels of the babassu palm native to Brazil. Rich in lauric and myristic acids, in soap, babassu offers a creamy, bubbly lather and acts as a gentle alternative to coconut oil — ideal for sensitive skin. Its soothing, cooling properties help calm dryness and irritation, making it a perfect addition to our nourishing tallow soaps.
**Organic Castor Oil – Known for its exceptional lather-boosting properties, castor oil enhances the soap’s bubbles and provides a smooth, conditioning feel on the skin. It also helps retain moisture, making it a great addition for sensitive skin.
*Natural Olive Pomace Oil - A time-honored staple in natural skincare, olive pomace oil is rich in antioxidants, squalene, and nourishing fatty acids. Extracted from the whole olive fruit, including the skin and pit, this oil deeply moisturizes, softens, and protects the skin without clogging pores. Its natural emollient properties help soothe dryness, calm irritation, and support the skin’s natural barrier. Olive pomace oil also creates a gentle, conditioning lather in cold process soap — making it ideal for sensitive or dry skin types.
#Raw Goat Milk - Fresh, raw goat milk has long been a gift from nature for nurturing the skin. Rich in gentle lactic acids, vitamins, and natural lipids, it deeply moisturizes while helping to soften and renew. Its creamy composition supports the skin’s natural barrier, soothes dryness, and delivers a feeling of lasting comfort. Unprocessed and full of life, raw goat milk brings a quiet kind of nourishment — leaving the skin feeling tender, supple, and restored.
**Organic Essential Oil Blend - Our Winter’s Frost blend brings together Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Bergamot, and Frankincense — a serene harmony inspired by quiet Southern winters. Lavender and chamomile lend their calming, floral hush, while bergamot adds a gentle brightness, like winter sunlight breaking through the chill. Frankincense grounds the blend with a smooth, resinous warmth, wrapping each note in peaceful stillness. Together, they create a scent that feels both fresh and comforting — clean as frost, soft as linen, and warm as a heart by the fire.
**Organic & Natural Clays & Botanicals - Winter’s Frost owes its soft blue-green hue and silky texture to a soothing blend of Cambrian Blue Clay, White Kaolin Clay, Blue Spirulina, and French Green Gray Clay. Together, these natural minerals and botanicals purify and balance the skin, drawing out impurities while restoring calm and moisture. The Cambrian Blue Clay gives a gentle cool tone reminiscent of winter skies, while White Kaolin offers a velvety smooth touch. Blue Spirulina lends a whisper of oceanic freshness, and French Green Gray Clay provides subtle detoxifying depth — capturing the quiet strength and beauty of a Southern frost.
*Natural Sodium Lactate - a natural, liquid salt derived from the fermentation of sugars, often from corn or beets. In soap making, it plays a vital role in producing a firm, long-lasting bar by hardening the soap. Beyond structural benefits, sodium lactate also helps retain moisture, ensuring the soap remains gentle and nourishing on the skin. It's a must-have ingredient for achieving a creamy, luxurious texture without compromising quality or performance.
***Each cold-processed soap is created through the traditional saponification process, which transforms natural oils into soap using our raw goat milk and lye (sodium hydroxide) or distilled water. This essential process binds the oils and lye, resulting in a gentle yet powerful cleansing bar. Once fully cured, no lye remains in the final product—only pure, skin-friendly soap that effectively cuts through grease while being safe and natural for everyday use. Please also note, each bar may differ a bit in color, shape and size, and are cured for at least 4 to 6 weeks to ensure a harder, longer-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. This extended curing time allows excess moisture to evaporate, resulting in a milder, more effective soap that cleans beautifully while remaining gentle on your skin. A well-cured soap bar not only lasts longer but also improves in quality over time, providing the best possible experience with every use.
Directions for Use: Lather the bar between your hands or on a washcloth with warm water. Massage onto damp skin and rinse clean. For longer-lasting bars, store soap on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses. Perfect for: Daily face and body use, especially for those who love earthy, detoxifying, and visually striking soaps.
