Inspired by the beautiful blue of Blue Tansy, Brynn’s Blue Tansy Body Butter is a rich, botanical body butter handcrafted with grass-fed & finished beef-suet tallow, raw unrefined kokum butter, and our own calendula & chamomile-infused organic jojoba oil.
We slowly infuse organic calendula and chamomile into jojoba, then blend it with our nourishing tallow and kokum butter. Blue Tansy essential oil gives Brynn her distinctive botanical aroma and naturally contributes to her beautiful blue hue, while Cambrian Blue Clay adds the finishing touch with a soft, earthy blue color.
A touch of colloidal oatmeal and tapioca powder completes the formula, creating the smooth, creamy finish we wanted without leaving the skin feeling heavily coated.

**Grass-Fed & Finished Beef-Suet Tallow - Our tallow is made from beef kidney suet and dry-rendered in-house. Naturally rich in skin-conditioning lipids, it gives Brynn her deeply nourishing character and helps soften dry-feeling skin while leaving behind a protective, emollient layer.
#Raw Unrefined Kokum Butter - Naturally rich in skin-conditioning fatty acids, especially stearic and oleic acids, kokum butter helps soften dry, rough-feeling skin, replenish lost lipids, and support the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Its rich emollient properties help reduce moisture loss while leaving skin feeling smoother, more supple, and comfortably nourished. Despite its richness, kokum melts beautifully into warm skin with a silky, non-waxy finish, making it especially lovely for areas prone to dryness, rough texture, and sensitive skin.
**Organic Calendula & Chamomile-Infused Jojoba Oil - We slowly infuse organic calendula and chamomile into nourishing organic jojoba oil to create a gentle botanical infusion especially suited for dry, delicate, and easily stressed skin. Jojoba is rich in skin-conditioning wax esters that closely resemble components of the skin’s natural sebum, helping soften, smooth, and support the skin’s moisture barrier without leaving a heavy, greasy feel. **Organic Colloidal Oatmeal - A time-honored ingredient for dry, delicate, and sensitive skin, colloidal oatmeal is naturally rich in beta-glucans, lipids, and antioxidant compounds called avenanthramides. It helps soothe and comfort dry, irritated-feeling skin while supporting the skin’s natural moisture barrier and helping reduce moisture loss. Its skin-conditioning properties leave rough, thirsty skin feeling softer, smoother, and more comfortable. We use finely milled colloidal oatmeal so it blends beautifully into Brynn’s creamy texture without a gritty or powdery feel.
**Organic & Natural Botanicals & Clays —A thoughtful blend of organic Tapioca powder and natural Cambrian Blue Clay gives Brynn her exceptionally silky finish and beautiful botanical color. Tapioca helps absorb excess surface oils and soften the feel of the skin, balancing the richness of tallow, kokum butter, and jojoba for a smooth, velvety afterfeel rather than a heavy or greasy finish. Mineral-rich Cambrian Blue Clay adds gentle skin-conditioning properties while contributing to Brynn’s naturally muted blue hue. Used sparingly alongside Blue Tansy, it creates Brynn’s distinctive color without synthetic dyes or artificial colorants, while preserving the rich, creamy texture of the body butter.
**Organic 100% Pure Vitamin E Oil - Naturally sourced D-alpha tocopherol Vitamin E provides antioxidant support while helping condition, soften, and nourish dry skin. Vitamin E helps support the skin’s natural moisture barrier, promoting a smoother, softer, and more supple feel, while also serving an important role within Brynn’s formula by helping protect its nourishing botanical oils and butters from oxidation and maintain their freshness.
How to Use: Scoop a small amount of Brynn from the jar and massage onto clean, dry or slightly damp skin until absorbed.
For especially dry areas, concentrate on hands, arms, legs, elbows, knees and heels.
For an extra-rich moisturizing ritual, apply after a bath or shower while the skin is still slightly damp.
Start small—this is a concentrated, anhydrous body butter, so you need much less than you would with a conventional water-based body lotion.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
A Note About Temperature - Because Brynn is made with natural butters, tallow and oils rather than synthetic texture stabilizers, her consistency can naturally change with temperature.
She may become softer in a warm environment and firmer when cool. This does not affect the quality of the product. Avoid leaving the jar in a hot vehicle or direct sunlight.
